During the novena of July 2012, I prayed for direction and the Lord granted me my dear friend, Joe. It's been 9 months since we decided to move beyond the friendship phase and thankfully, through all that has happened, we are still together.

Milagro!
During the month of December 2010, I was traumatized to the point where I could neither make head or tail of my feelings. This happened because I found myself staring at a gun pointed at me by an assailant. From research I got to know that this is normal. As someone else wrote; the idiot part of our brain concludes that at the time of the event that it is a joke and when the whole thing finally sinks in, grief and fear set in.
I had begun the Novena to the Infant Jesus and rolling out of bed this particular morning, I was by all human standards unaware of what lay in store for me but will forever be grateful to our all knowing God for making preparations before hand regarding my deliverance.
As it turned out, God delivered me from the devil and I was unscathed and did not lose anything to him. The name Jesus is still mighty to deliver. I was saved by calling on his name.

Who is the King of Glory?
As I try to think up something befitting a King to write in this blog about the Great King, our messiah and victim, I run blank. Not because there aren't so many awesome things he has done and commands but because my little mind lacks the eloquence to eulogize our Lord.
In my simple diction, I will mention that the infant Jesus has kept me from many a miserable consequence that would have resulted from my stupidity. He has provided for me. He is my protector, my counselor and my confidant. Oh how many times did I go to visit at the Blessed Sacrament with a heavy heart and at times weeping eyes and ended up leaving his prison of love with my burdens lighter and even gone. He it is who puts the right perspective in all things. With him, I can never go wrong. Oh, that my faith would grow to the size of a mustard seed!
